What's new in Düsseldorf? A real highlight is just around the corner! The “Chefs in Town” event will take place from September 26th to 28th, which will especially delight the wine lovers among us. Across the days, visitors can expect great wine tastings and many delicious events that simply don't miss a distinct wine taste. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe also said: “The dear life takes care of worries, and the vines are the breakers of worries.”
On Sunday, September 28th, the casemates will focus in particular on the South African wines from the renowned Boschendal winery. Under the direction of Marco-Jean Cloete, visitors can taste six different wines - including Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc and the aromatic Lanoy. For just 39 euros per person there is a lot to discover and enjoy. This exclusive tasting promises not only delicious wines, but also exciting insights and personal stories about the South American wine tradition. Reservations are possible through Eventim to ensure there is space for everyone. Delicious combinations and a touch of exotic
But that's not all! On Sunday there is also a wonderful combination of wine and culinary delights. A unique event will take place on Carlsplatz, where the team from the Purozushi sushi stand will prepare delicious sushi with a fruity approach. TV chef Tarik Rose conjures up tasty pork belly and the matching wine selection comes from the Emrich-Schönleber winery. Spontaneous participation is required here: just come along, as there are no tickets – first come, first serve!
And as if that wasn't enough, wine influencer Toni Askitis and top chef Fabio Haebel meet here at the Chips & Wine Pelican Fly at Graf-Adolf-Platz. They serve, among other things, delicious ceviche and the popular fish and chips combination.
