Cultural exchange in Witten: IGA 2027 highlights tourism!

A lively hustle and bustle for the planned International Garden Exhibition (IGA) 2027 recently took place in the LWL-Museum Zeche Nachtigall in Witten in the spirit of the exchange. As part of the “Coffee & Connect – Network in the afternoon” event, which took place at the end of May, around 30 experts from various areas came together to discuss the potential of this exhibition for tourism in the region. Organized by the EN agency and the Ennepe-Ruhr district, Katja Kamlage welcomed those present, followed by a greeting from Gerben Bergstra from the LWL Museum. The participants, including representatives from district cities as well as from Hagen and Bochum, had the opportunity to discuss topics such as participation in the IGA 2027 and cooperation until 2030 in moderated discussion groups.
