17-year-old brutally attacked in Euskirchen – witnesses wanted!

A shocking incident occurred on Sunday evening, October 26th, in Euskirchen when a 17-year-old was brutally attacked. At around 6 p.m., police officers discovered the teenager, who was standing shirtless and covered in blood on the side of the road on Alleestrasse. He was badly injured and visibly disoriented.

The situation began in a kiosk on Klosterstrasse. There was a verbal argument between the 17-year-old and a group of five young men. Without warning, one of the attackers hit the teenager's leg with a telescopic baton. In a panic, he fled on foot, but fate was not kind to him.

Brutal attack

Shortly after his escape, a silver Audi stopped next to him. Four men got out and began brutally attacking him. The 17-year-old suffered numerous injuries throughout his body and received medical treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital.

The description of the attackers provides clues to their identity: They are male, between 17 and 25 years old, and are around 1.75 to 1.85 meters tall. What was particularly noticeable was that one of the men had a telescopic baton with him. The Euskirchen criminal police have started investigating dangerous bodily harm and are looking for witnesses who can provide information on 02251 799-0 or by email to poststelle.euskirchen@polizei.nrw.de.
