A total of two employees were injured - one of them had to be taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation. Another colleague received outpatient treatment. The fire department was able to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings, but it spread to other parts of the facility, a floor above and the roof.

The extinguishing work took around two hours until the fire was under control. The extinguishing work lasted until the evening and a fire watch remained on site overnight to ensure safety. Fortunately, the air measurements in the area did not reveal any abnormalities, as the fire department was able to determine. A warning message was issued via the Nina app to warn the population of the heavy smoke.
The exact cause of the fire is currently unclear and the police have started an investigation to determine the damage. So far there is no information about the extent of the damage; the clean-up work is in full swing.
