An exciting time for equestrian sports and horse lovers! At this year's RFV Ratheim Pentecost tournament, which took place on June 13, 2025, the participants showed their skills in various disciplines. The focus was particularly on the team competition in class A, where the team “Three Chickens and a Rooster” triumphed and took home the coveted Ratheim challenge cup.
The winning team was made up of four enthusiastic riders: Letizia Schiller from RC St. Günhoven rode her loyal partner Cassinus de Revel, while Antonia Dewes from RSG Krefeld competed with Bac Baby Guinness. Lola Stranzenbach from RFV Lobberich also shone with her horse Valon Cr, and Fabian Küppers from RC St. Georg Günhoven impressed on Toulouse. This mixture of talent and team spirit made the decisive difference against the three teams from RFV Ratheim, who competed under the names Willi Schreinemacher four, two and one to make things really difficult for the “chickens”. But the joy of the victory was obvious!
Successes in the style jumping competition
In addition to the team jumping, an exciting 38th style jumping competition also took place as part of the tournament, in which the participants competed over obstacles with a maximum height of 80 cm. A total of 31 riders competed here and remarkable performances were observed. The judge Heinz Hofschröer had a challenging task of selecting the best riders.
