50 years of Höxter airfield: A celebration of aviation and vintage cars!
A special event is just around the corner: the Höxter airfield will celebrate its 50th anniversary on June 21, 2025. The motto “Save a Dornier” also honors the tenth anniversary of the initiative of the same name. The celebrations not only invite members of the Luftsport Höxter association, but also the entire population of the region, as the chairman Dr. Nikolaus Müller emphasizes. “We are very pleased that we can celebrate these milestones together,” said Müller with words of solidarity.
The event takes place at Höxter-Holzminden airfield, at Räuschenbergstrasse 100. A colorful program will be offered from Saturday, June 21, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 22, 2025, 6:00 p.m.
Activities for young and old
What is on offer? A highlight is the fly-in, where various aircraft, helicopters and air sports equipment are expected. Vintage cars will also be on display, which will make the event particularly interesting. It is the perfect opportunity to experience the fascination of aviation up close and spend a great day with the family.
