In this year's autumn season, the Josef Beuys Comprehensive School in Kleve is calling for the 15th edition of its holiday project. The District Music School (KMS) has put together an impressive musical with great enthusiasm that brings the legend of Daedalus and Icarus to life. A total of 27 talented children and young people between the ages of 9 and 19 came together to create a complete piece in just seven days. It will be a real pleasure to experience the performance on Thursday, October 16th at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium at Ackerstrasse 80.
The story is about Daedalus and Icarus, who, as prisoners of King Minos on Crete, develop a daring escape plan. This thrilling tale, which explores themes of both freedom and the risks of arrogance, is sure to touch the hearts of viewers. Preparations are in full swing and the anticipation for the performance is palpable.
