Anyone interested in these animals should not miss the air show, which takes place twice a day. This starts at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and lasts half an hour each. Not only do visitors have the opportunity to admire the birds in action, but they can also pick up an animal between performances and pose for a souvenir photo. This is fun for young and old!
A look into the history of falconry
Interestingly, the historical significance of falconry is also discussed during the show. In the Middle Ages, this hunt was a privilege of the nobility - an exciting chapter that is discussed in the permanent exhibition of the Burg Altena Museums.
