Happy Holidays: Eckenhagen Comprehensive School celebrates brilliant graduations!

A big day for the students! On July 12, 2025, the Eckenhagen Comprehensive School ceremoniously said goodbye to 136 graduates from grade 10. A moment that not only marks the end of a school year, but also offers an opportunity for all students to continue shaping their educational path. The celebration was a colorful spectacle that focused on community, creativity and appreciation. A special highlight was the opening of the event: the students danced in a couples dance performance that thrilled the audience. Moderated by the tenth graders themselves, an entertaining program ran through the evening. In an exciting competition, tutor teams competed against the students in the style of a “family duel” - the students secured victory!

Honors and awards

A heartfelt moment was the honoring of the best of the year. Amelie Kiwnik with a remarkable average grade of 1.1 and Tugra Ceylan with 1.2 received the coveted Elektrisola Prize, each worth 100 euros. In his closing speech, headmaster Markus Sutoris emphasized the importance of constant development and the successes that the school can boast. The results of the central examinations show that the comprehensive school is above the national average in several subjects, particularly German and mathematics.

Education not only strengthens individual development, but also plays a key role for the economy and society.
