Five bands rock Hall 32: An unforgettable evening at WareHouseStage!
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the “WareHouseStage – Live” event in Gummersbacher Hall 32 celebrated a very special anniversary: five years of support for regional musicians and music bands. Five bands presented a colorful potpourri of different musical genres and created a great atmosphere in the audience. Loud Oberberg Current The band “HovesMeute” from the Rhein-Sieg district opened the event and celebrated its tenth anniversary at the same time. The listeners were carried away by the Celtic rhythms and danced enthusiastically to the sounds.
“HovesMeute” has made a name for itself not only through its performances, but also through its first streaming in October 2023. With around twelve gigs a year, the band is a fixture in the local music scene. The Eckenhagen band “Lidocxine” was particularly positive about the rousing violin and flute sounds that accompanied the performance of “HovesMeute”.
Diverse line-up and exciting performances
After the Celtic start, the band “Woodship” rocked the stage with their powerful modern alternative rock. They played both old classics and new songs from their EP, which will be released on November 14th. “Ladybug Lounge”, which was the first band to have a woman in the group, also thrilled the audience with a sing-along repertoire that included well-known songs such as “Let me entertain you” and a special jazz version of “99 Luftballons”.
The other two bands of the evening, “Kombinaten” from Cologne and “Joker’s Kingdom” from Dortmund, shone with their versatile styles that combined rock, groove, grunge, indie rock and post-punk elements. All bands impressively demonstrated how creative and varied the local music scene is.
A project with a future
Markus Missbrandt, the chairman of “WareHouseStage”, informed those present about the creation of the association during the Corona lockdown and the development of the live events. Originally launched as a project, “WareHouseStage” has now become an integral part of the music scene in the Oberberg district. The association not only promotes cultural diversity, but also supports regional and national artists with various offers. This includes monthly live streams and workshops in the areas of sound, video, lighting, artist management and recording studio services.
Tickets for the anniversary event were available in advance for 16 euros, while the price at the box office was 20 euros. Future performances will be recorded on the WareHouseStage YouTube channel so that those who were unable to be there can also experience the performances. Other Hall 32 reported extensively on the event and the cultural aspirations behind “WareHouseStage.”
