Fire alarm in Gustorf: combine harvester on fire, fire brigade intervenes!

On Friday evening, July 18th, 2025, a fire broke out in a combine harvester in a field in Gustorf around 10:15 p.m. The alerted Grevenbroich fire department quickly rushed to the scene, which was near the driving safety center. On site it turned out that the flames had already spread from the engine room to the driver's cab. Fortunately, the driver was able to get out of the combine harvester in time and was uninjured. The driver made his first attempts to extinguish the fire himself using a powder extinguisher before the fire department took over.
