New drive for the economy: Impuls Rhein-Kreis Neuss” presented!

On Thursday evening the... House of Musicians An important step in the economic development of the Rhine district of Neuss was taken at the Hombroich rocket station. The region proudly presented its new brand name: “Impuls Rhein-Kreis Neuss”. The evening was marked by creative branding, introduced to those in attendance with name tags and an eye-catching green dot. This green dot symbolizes the impulses that economic development wants to provide in this region.

The development of this brand was carried out by the Cologne agency gmk brand consulting accompanied. The logo is a real eye-catcher: a large neon green dot, surrounded by blue-green backgrounds, embodies the new image, which is intended to represent the region in a future-oriented and dynamic way. As part of the new RKNextGen concept, this brand stands for stimulating the business location and is intended to help create new jobs and training positions.

Strategic goals and outlook

At the event, District Administrator Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke emphasized how important it is to promote value creation and securing jobs in this region. Robert Abts, head of the district's economic development department, explained the brand as embodying the future, progress and design. In addition, the brand profile is based on the keywords: “Business – make it easy”, “drive innovation” and “future as a home advantage”.

A central aspect in finding the name was a qualitative survey in which over 30 companies took part. The relaunch was initiated with a “soft launch” that will be implemented gradually. Initially, the focus will be on social media such as LinkedIn, newsletters, services and events.

Brand effects and network formation

The event ended with an exciting one Panel discussion on the topic of “Brand Effects”, where Dr. Simone Roth, Kirsten Wittke-Lemm and Lindiana Asani took part. This discussion highlighted how location marketing links companies and economic development and creates incentives for companies to locate there. Strengthening the perception as a business location is particularly important, as we attach great importance to “soft” location factors such as quality of life and culture, which are particularly crucial for skilled workers and managers.

At a time when the competition for the best minds and innovations is becoming ever tougher, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss is looking for a breath of fresh air with “Impuls”. The clear goal: to form a strong network and make know-how visible. In this way, the region is positioned not only as a location but also as a vibrant economic producer.

The evening not only offered good networking, but also delicious finger food and refreshing drinks - a sign that the new ways of economic development can actually be enjoyed!
