Discover your future: time for an experience abroad!

Eurodesk in Steinfurt has taken advantage of this and is organizing a variety of events as part of the “Time to Move” campaign. These information events are aimed at anyone interested in volunteer services, work & travel or student exchanges. European opportunities for young people
Participation in the events is possible for young people aged 13 to 30. The participants come from many different European countries, such as Austria, Germany, France and Switzerland. This diversity makes the exchange program particularly exciting. Although participants have to adhere to certain rules, they can be sure that they will receive valuable information for their next step abroad.
A particularly interesting option at international level is the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) abroad, which has established itself as a popular option. As on the website of Federal Voluntary Service As can be read, social, cultural or ecological tasks are taken on during an FSJ abroad, which not only promote personal development, but also enable international understanding to be valued. The FSJ can be completed in any country in the world, but only through approved sending organizations.
The requirements for an application are very clear: you should be at least 17 and at most 26 years old, have completed school education and be open and committed. Even though it often seems that the costs of a stay abroad are often not fully covered by government funding, participants receive pocket money and basic living costs such as accommodation and food are usually covered.
Why choose a foreign adventure?
In addition to the tangible adventure aspect, such a stay also brings experience and possible professional benefits. Participants can gain valuable initial professional experience and make new friends faster than expected. In addition, the entitlement to child benefit remains during the FSJ, which is particularly important for young adults.
Whether it's exciting exchanges with peers, immersing yourself in other cultures or learning new skills - the "Time to Move" initiative offers aspiring explorers the opportunity to expand their horizons and take part in exciting projects.
