Düka coffee impresses at the sausage market: new recipes on offer!

While the sausage market in Bad Dürkheim is preparing for its next edition, visitors can look forward to a diverse culinary experience. The Wurstmarkt, the largest wine festival in the world, will take place in 2025 from the weekends of September 12th to 16th and 19th to 22nd. This year the stand will be from Düka coffee enrich the gastronomic offer again.

The team around owners Michael Pelzer and Udo Bischoff already has new recipes for Wurstmarkt visitors that make coffee a real pleasure. The traditional coffee is roasted in Bad Dürkheim and is known for its special flavors that should not be missed. A festival full of tradition

According to history dating back to 1417, the Wurstmarkt was originally founded as a Michaelmas market to sell local produce to pilgrims. Today the festival attracts over 600,000 visitors every year. The numerous wine stands and culinary offerings, such as bratwursts and regional wines - especially Riesling - are a magnet for gourmets and wine connoisseurs. Admission to the festival is free and entertainment is also provided, with traditional Bavarian music and a Ferris wheel providing the thrills.

Remember to bring enough cash with you as most stalls only accept cash. In order to fully enjoy the festival, it is advisable to arrange accommodation in advance and plan well in advance.
