On July 5, 2025, the “Trift” stadium in Bad Dürkheim will once again be transformed into a mecca for rock and metal fans. The popular “Rock im Wingert” festival is entering the next round and expects a diverse audience. The organizers, the “Rockwinzer” association, are looking forward to an unforgettable day, which is now in its 26th edition. The gates open at 1 p.m. and numerous highlights await festival visitors. What can visitors expect this year? An exciting line-up that includes both old hands and new talent. The school band “Pop Factory” provides the first sounds between 2:00 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., followed by “A.D.D.”, who are known as a tribute band to the legendary group System Of A Down. It continues with “Pussy Sisster”, a glam rock band, and “Apron”, who perform a mix of hardcore, nu metal and industrial. The real nostalgic rock atmosphere is represented by “Living Theory”, a band that brings the hits of Linkin Park to the stage. The crowning finale is the hard rock band “J.B.O.”, which is guaranteed to set the mood with their humorous lyrics.

Fun activities and regional flair

But it's not just the music that will shape the festival. In addition to the concerts, there are a variety of activities off the stage. Judith Hagen, Head of Social Affairs, emphasizes the importance of such events for a sense of community. Among other things, visitors can put their talent to the test at football darts, with a 100 euro voucher as a prize. There is also a photo box for souvenir photos and the opportunity to have temporary tattoos - perfect for remembering the festival experience for a long time.

In addition, VR Bank Mittelhaardt eG, the main sponsor of the festival, will distribute free commemorative bracelets at its stand and operate various promotional stands to enrich the festival experience. Such initiatives help to entertain visitors not only musically, but also culinary and culturally.
