The South German championships were not only important for Valnion. The competition saw high audience participation and featured a wealth of impressive performances. In the sprint, Tyrese Stewart from TSV Amicitia Viernheim, who completed the 100 meters in 10.71 seconds, demonstrated his strength and remained below the U18 European Championship standard of 10.75 seconds. Noel Louis Kretzschmar from TV Oberndorf also secured a place on the podium with a time of 10.79 seconds, while Jakob Kemminer and Philip Stroh beat the European Championship standard of 21.75 seconds in the 200 meters.

Particularly noteworthy was the double victory in the 400 meter hurdles by Tim Rodinger and Jannis Gartmann, both under the European Championship standard of 54.00 seconds. There was also Ben Silas Kribelbauer (LAZ Zweibrücken), who exceeded the standard in the pole vault with 4.70 meters.
Simon Kunkel (USC Mainz) shone in the throwing disciplines, being successful in both the shot put and discus throw. He thus confirmed his strong form in this championship.

For the athletes who dared to pole vault, the USC Mainz team set new standards with Lotte and Line Gretzler, both exceeding the standard of 3.80 meters.
