A very special anniversary was celebrated in Bad Kreuznach last Friday: the factory choir at the Michelin location is celebrating its 40th anniversary. As part of the traditional summer party for Michelin seniors, numerous employees and friends of the company came together to properly honor this festive occasion. A highlight of the celebrations were the warm video greetings from factory director Guilhem Vogel and human resources manager Heike Notzon, who unfortunately could not be present in person. According to Vogel, the factory choir is an important ambassador of the company's values and deserves “grateful applause” for its years of commitment.
The greetings also came from other prominent members of the community. Jörg Kauffmann, the chairman of the district choir association, as well as Sigrid Schmitt, André Nürnberg from the Michelin tire factory and Heinz Faßig, the long-time chairman of the choir, were enthusiastic about the singers' achievements and praised the cultural contributions that the choir has made to the company over the years.
