Something exciting is happening in Bad Kreuznach: From November 6th, 2025, a pop-up wine shop will open at Mannheimer Straße 148, right in the pedestrian zone, next to Lebenshilfe. Not only is wine sold here, but there are also a wealth of interwoven cultural events. According to the Rhein-Zeitung, the offering in this temporary wine shop will present visitors with 165 wines from 55 different wineries - that's certainly a good deal for all wine lovers!

The diverse wine selection ranges from sparkling white wines to Piwi and natural wines to exclusive sparkling wines. The organizers, the Weinland Nahe association in collaboration with SooNahe, Naheland-Touristik and the city of Bad Kreuznach, have big plans. The aim of the project is to combine wine sales with a colorful program of cultural activities. In keeping with this, the opening hours of the pop-up wine shop will be Thursdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The door remains closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays.

A colorful event program

The program is anything but boring! The series starts on November 15th with a champagne brunch, where the Göckel party service will provide the culinary delicacies. This will be followed by a reading with Thomas Scheffler on November 20th and an entertaining Nahewein quiz evening on November 21st. For food lovers, there will be “Tapas & Wine” evenings on November 27th and December 11th, where Johannes Metzler’s delicious dishes will be served.

Another highlight will be the sparkling wine tasting on December 19th with Katharina Gräff. The program also includes creative wine evenings, where participants can take part in workshops such as cocktail mixing, painting and arranging dried flowers. Things will also be musically exciting, for example at the saxophone evenings and the cultural and wine ambassador tours.
