Bingen Wine Festival 2025: More buses and trains for festival visitors!
A real festival is currently being celebrated in Bingen: the popular wine festival will take place from August 29th to September 8th, 2025. With thousands of visitors looking forward to regional wine and delicious food, the city is once again in a state of emergency. The Antenna KH reports that KRN Kommunalverkehr Rhein-Nahe GmbH and Stadtwerke Bingen are expanding public transport connections to enable safe arrival and departure for all guests.
Particularly noteworthy is the extensive offering on line 235, which connects Bingen with Kempten, Ockenheim and Dromersheim. On weekends there are trips every 30 minutes in the evenings, while during peak times they even run every 20 minutes. In addition to the existing routes 601, 230, 233 and 234, new night trips will also be offered to serve visitors late into the night.
Special traffic adjustments
In between all the celebrating and enjoying, it's important to keep an eye on traffic conditions. The Antenna KH looks at the two wine festival Sundays on which there will be traffic changes: On August 31st, the Bingen city run will lead to closures from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on September 7th, the traditional wine festival parade from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. will bring restrictions in bus traffic. It is worth consulting the timetables of the Rhein-Nahe-Nahverkehrsverbund (RNN), which can be accessed online.
A feast for the senses
The program of the wine festival is as colorful as the wine itself. With 14 wine producers presenting their fine wines at five festival sites, the event captivates many wine lovers. The presentation of regional wines such as Riesling, Pinot Noir and Rosé in particular promises to be a real treat. Accompanied by a large stage program with live music, dancing and other culinary specialties, visitors can enjoy regional delicacies.
Another highlight is the festive wine parade, which will captivate visitors on Sunday. This parade is a tribute to the tradition and community of the region. Participants such as winemakers, traditional costume clubs and various groups will parade through the city in a celebratory setting and create an unforgettable atmosphere.
In summary, it can be said that the Bingen Wine Festival 2025 is not only a pleasure for the senses, but is also well organized in terms of safety and traffic. The city of Bingen shows once again that it has a good knack for welcoming its guests and ensuring everything runs smoothly. For everyone who hasn't been there yet: now is the perfect time to get going!
