On the night of Sunday, more precisely at 1 a.m., there was an attempted break-in into a service workshop in the Kreuzwiese industrial area in Rockenhausen (Donnersbergkreis). The unknown perpetrator, dressed in dark clothing, tried to force his way into the company building through a window. However, his plan remained unfinished because he was disturbed by the injured party. This resulted in the burglar hastily fleeing the premises.
The police in Rockenhausen are now looking for witnesses. Any information regarding any suspicious person or vehicle that may be connected to the incident is requested. Burglaries remain a pressing problem
This incident comes in the context of a general increase in attempted break-ins in Germany.
