On November 4, 2025, an incident on the A63 motorway near Kirchheimbolanden caused a stir. Shortly after 3:40 p.m., four young people threw stones from a road bridge that leads towards Edenbornerhof. A stone hit the windshield of a vehicle traveling towards Kaiserslautern and caused it significant damage. The two young people, who were riding scooters, and their accomplices, aged around 12 to 16, were able to escape undetected after the incident. The description of the perpetrators is consistent: they are male, have dark hair and were dressed in dark clothing. A manhunt launched immediately by the Gau-Bickelheim motorway police remained unsuccessful, meaning the officers are now dependent on information from the public.
