Experience the eerie atmosphere
What would Halloween be without the right dark atmosphere? Halloween in Rhineland-Palatinate has its own eerie atmosphere. Fog covers the dark forests and the rustling of leaves is almost eerie. Visiting one of the remote villages at this time can give you a feeling of persecution as you look at the shadowy figures and gnawed skeletons at the doorways. Sometimes you wonder if the carved turnips or pumpkins are watching visitors. RLP Tourism describes how fascinating and frightening the scenery in the small villages can be.
Get ready and don't miss the chance to properly celebrate the spookiest festival of the year in the Palatinate. Whether it's a spooky festival or carving pumpkins for the perfect Halloween decoration - the region has something to offer for every taste!
