Full closure of the L401 in Wartenberg: This is how you get through safely!

The rumor mill is churning: From September 8th, the L401 (Kaiserstrasse) in the Wartenberg-Rohrbach area will be completely closed for around four weeks. The reason for this measure is the complete renewal of the roadway, which can only be carried out under full closure due to structural requirements and for reasons of occupational safety. As the weekly Reporter reports, the damage to the road is so serious that cracks, deformations and compression must be repaired to ensure the safety of road users.

The diversion takes place via Sembach, the L393 and the B48 in order to get back to the L401 in both directions. The construction work extends over approximately 1.1 kilometers and is divided into several separate construction phases. This is intended to ensure that residents have access to their properties and important facilities despite the full closure. Road users should prepare for detours and time restrictions in order to avoid the inconvenience as much as possible.

Construction phases in detail

• Erster Bauabschnitt:
  • Länge: ca. 620 Meter von der Kreisgrenze bis zur Mitte der Esso-Tankstelle.
  • Dauer: etwa zwei Wochen.
  • Zufahrt zur Kirchstraße bleibt über das Baufeld möglich, Tankstelle ist aus Richtung Norden erreichbar.
• Zweiter Bauabschnitt:
  • Länge: ca. 110 Meter von der Mitte der Tankstelle bis zur Kreuzung Kaiserstraße, Billacker und Hauptstraße.
  • Dauer: etwa zwei Wochen.
  • Tankstelle ist aus Richtung Süden zugänglich, Hauptstraße und Billacker aus Richtung Norden.
• Dritter Bauabschnitt:
  • Länge: ca. 380 Meter von der Kreuzung Kaiserstraße, Billacker und Hauptstraße bis zum Ortsausgang.
  • Geplant für den Zeitraum vom 11. Oktober bis 12. Oktober.
  • Zufahrt zu Baustoffe Schäfer bleibt während der Öffnungszeiten aus Richtung Norden sichergestellt.
