A worrying incident has occurred in Hanau that has shaken the community. On Wednesday evening, unknown persons smeared almost 50 vehicles as well as mailboxes and house walls with a reddish liquid. A resident discovered the smeared hood of his car around 10:40 p.m. and immediately informed the police. A short time later, this was further defaced in the surrounding streets, including Karl-Marx-Strasse, Friedrich-Engels-Strasse, Dartforder Strasse and Breslauer Strasse. Palatinate Express reported that the graffiti was predominantly in the form of swastikas.
During initial analysis, police determined that the substance used was human blood. However, the origin of this blood remains unclear and so far there have been no reports of any injuries. The criminal police have started an investigation to clarify the damage to property and the use of license plates of unconstitutional organizations. The time states that investigators believe the crimes took place after 4 p.m.
