The first incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Landstrasse 428, between Schwabenheim and Groß-Winternheim. A 17-year-old motorcyclist from Ingelheim collided with the trailer of a tractor that was being driven by a 38-year-old harvest worker who was traveling at a speed of 25 km/h. For reasons that are still unclear, the motorcyclist and his passenger, who is 16 years old, collided with the unauthorized trailer, which resulted in the light motorcycle overturning. Both drivers were thrown through the air by the force of the impact. The motorcyclist was seriously injured, but his injuries are not life-threatening. His passenger, however, only suffered minor injuries. Fortunately, the tractor driver was uninjured. The accident caused significant property damage; While the light motorcycle was a total loss, the trailer was also affected. Tragic head-on collision in the morning
