On June 24, 2025, the popular singer Thomas Anders (62) was a guest on the ZDF program “Volle Kanne” and spoke to presenter Nadine Krüger (48) about the 40th anniversary of “Modern Talking”. This anniversary is not only a reason to celebrate, but also an opportunity to look back at the story behind the famous duo. The event “Schlagerbooom – Open Air – 2025” received particularly great attention, not least due to the return of Florian Silbereisen after a 161-day break. Amidst the festive atmosphere of the Kitzbühel stadium, which was transformed into a sea of lights, numerous stars presented their sing-along hits. In addition to Dieter Bohlen, artists such as Andrea Berg, DJ Ötzi and Andreas Gabalier are also taking part. However, Bohlen left it open exactly what the audience would be surprised with.
Although Thomas Anders was originally announced as the first guest, he is currently not on the official guest list. This raises questions as to whether there has been a further shift between the former partners or whether another chapter in this interesting story could still be written.
