Loud Mercuryist Adventurers should definitely explore the “Road in the Vineyards” in Sprendlingen. This isn't just about simple hiking trails, but rather an adventure trail with 18 stations that is a great highlight, especially for families. Visitors can feel good on the 7-kilometer-long circular route, which is divided into two loops of 3.5 kilometers each. You can start either at Sprendlingen train station or at the parking lot at the Wißberghalle.

Another lot goes to the Neu Baumburg castle ruins in the Bad Kreuznach district. This historical site, which was built in 1253, not only offers a wide view over the Rhine-Hesse hill country, but is also exciting for history buffs. In the center of Neu Bamberg, restored half-timbered houses, old farms and an enchanting garden spark the curiosity of visitors. By the way, the Kandelpforte with its historic clock tower is another piece of history and the only surviving example of a tower clock in Rheinhessen. Hiking enthusiasts can take part in the Hiwweltour Eichelberg and the Hiwweltour Heideblick, which lead through picturesque landscapes.
