Digital citizen consultation with Ellen Demuth: Questions and answers!
On November 19th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. we invite all citizens to take part in a digital citizens' consultation with Ellen Demuth, the directly elected Bundestag member of the CDU. This opportunity for direct exchange is intended to make it possible to discuss concerns and topics that concern people in the Neuwied and Altenkirchen districts. Registration is required by November 17th at the latest and can be easily sent by email to ellen.demuth.wk@bundestag.de or by phone at 02644-602 608 3. After registration, a dial-in link will be provided to participate in the consultation hour.
Ellen Demuth has always advocated for the interests of citizens throughout her career. The MP, born on July 10, 1982 in Linz am Rhein, has an impressive career. After graduating from high school at the Clara-Schumann-Gymnasium in Bonn and studying business administration at the International University of Bad Honnef-Bonn, she was able to gain international experience as a business economist (FH) and Bachelor of Business in Australia. In 2001 she joined the CDU and began a politically active career that led her to the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament in 2011.
Ellen Demuth's political career
With re-election in the “Linz-Rengsdorf” constituency in 2016 and 2021, she showed that she enjoys the trust of the voters. She is not only deputy chairwoman of the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate state parliamentary group, but also a member of the state parliament's council of elders since 2024. Her activities as a member of the SWR broadcasting council and as a deputy member of the ARD program advisory board since 2020 testify to her commitment and influence on regional media and programs.
Demuth's role in the municipal committees is also noteworthy: she has been a member of the Neuwied district council and the Linz city council since 2009. She also serves on the Linz Municipal Council and thus shows a good knack for local issues. With this citizens' consultation, she would like to create a space for constructive discussions and help ensure that citizens' concerns are heard.
