A disturbing case of vandalism was reported in Elkenroth on the weekend of October 25th and 26th, 2025. Unknown perpetrators caused damage to a wooden shelter located near the sports field on Jahnstrasse. During this nighttime action, several roof tiles of the shelter were significantly damaged as heavy boulders were thrown onto the roof. The consequences are obvious - some roof tiles broke and left visible damage.
The incident not only attracted the attention of local residents, but also caused extensive property damage to the local community of Elkenroth. The exact amount of damage is currently unclear.
