Loud daily news There were a total of 441 cyclists fatally injured in traffic in 2024 - a worrying increase of 11.4 percent compared to 2014. Groups particularly at risk
The statistics also make it clear that older people are particularly at risk. In 2024, almost two thirds of the fatally injured cyclists were in the over 65 age group. This trend can also be seen in past reporting, which shows that the number of seniors who have accidents with an e-bike has risen sharply.
