Discover landscapes: artist tour with Heike Negenborn in Speyer!
What's new in the art scene? There is a special event coming up at the Städtische Galerie Speyer. On Friday, November 21, 2025, the gallery invites you to an exciting artist tour with the talented Heike Negenborn, which begins at 11 a.m. Art lovers can experience the unique exhibition under the title “Fields of View – Landscape as a Space for Thinking”. Heike Negenborn will personally guide you through her works and provide fascinating insights into her artistic work method.
The exhibition focuses on the connection of analog and digital image elements in paintings, graphics and drawings. The conversation with Franz Dudenhöffer, the director of the municipal gallery, will be particularly interesting. Everything revolves around the representation of landscape between real nature experience and digital image space. The event is expected to last approximately 60 minutes and is the last opportunity to visit the exhibition, as it will only be on view until November 23, 2025. Anyone interested in art is cordially invited to take part in this special event. It's a great opportunity to get inspired and learn more about Negenborn's artistic vision, like the Speyer courier reported.
Workshop with Heike Negenborn and Heiko Börner
But that's not all! The previous summer, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, the Eichenmüllerhaus Municipal Gallery in Lemgo opened its doors for an exciting combination of artist tour and workshop. Heike Negenborn will be seen here again, and this time she will be accompanied by Heiko Börner.
The artist tour also takes place at 11 a.m. and is part of the exhibition “Landscape 4.0 – Nature in Transition”. During this class the focus is on contemporary landscape painting. Negenborn will discuss how analog and digital elements intertwine and discuss with participants the perception and interpretation of landscape in the digital age. Following the tour, visitors can take part in a workshop with Heiko Börner from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The theme here is “relaxed, tense,” with participants designing their own art objects using wooden elements and materials such as wool and fabric ribbons. An exciting opportunity to explore creative skills and let off steam artistically! This event is free, but registration is required by July 4th My Lemgo reported.
For all art enthusiasts and those who want to become one, these events are an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art and experience inspiring moments. Who knows, you might even discover your own artistic talent!
