FC Speyer 09: Young talents move up to the first team!

FC Speyer 09 is putting its ambitions on the pitch in the new season. Jonathan Lahmer, Matthias von Görtz and Wrisberg from the club's A-Juniors have recently moved into the first team. The club announced this today. What is particularly interesting is that Lahmer was already able to gain playing experience in the Speyer II second team, while von Görtz and Wrisberg made a total of 25 appearances in the youth regional league as defenders.

In order to support the integration of these talented young players, they should also get match practice in the second team. After all, the boys have a lot to do before the new season really gets going. On Thursday, June 19th, FC Speyer 09 starts at 7:30 p.m. with the Sat Cup in Pfeddersheim, where they have to compete with the upper division team Arminia Ludwigshafen. The finals will follow on Saturday.

Test matches and training camps are coming up

There are many exciting games on the agenda for FC Speyer 09 in the next few days. From July 2nd to 4th, the club will take part in the SV Ruchheim blitz tournament before playing against the upper division team FV Dudenhofen in the sports park on Sunday, July 6th. FC Speyer 09 finally have another test on July 12th at 5 p.m. at Fortuna Heddesheim. And for the second team, training sessions begin next Monday.

Before things get serious with the start of the round on Sunday, August 3rd, FC 09 aims to prepare optimally in a training camp near Aschaffenburg from July 25th to 27th. The preparation is supported by carefully planned test games, including against league rivals FV Berghausen on July 11th at 7 p.m. and on July 20th at 1 p.m. against VfL Neuhofen.

Change in the youth sector

The topic of changing clubs in the youth sector is a hot topic. Players can change, especially in the phase between June 1st and July 31st. The de-registration periods must be taken into account, which play an important role for young people from within. Immediate permission to play can be applied for under certain circumstances, such as when the age group moves or is dissolved. The rule is that Bambinis (E to G juniors) can change without any waiting time, while A to D juniors need the approval of their current club in order to be able to take action immediately.

This year's changes have already produced a lot of talent from the youth ranks and the new regulations offer players the opportunity to take their future into their own hands. An exciting year lies ahead for the Speyer players in this regard. With the changes and the upcoming competition, the anticipation is great. We're excited to see how the new faces perform in the first team.
