Baroque, pop and film music: Ensemble Tromba Festiva thrilled in Bad Dürkheim

That happened on Sunday evening Ensemble Tromba Festiva an impressive crossover concert in the Ludwigskirche in Bad Dürkheim. Organized by the Church Music Support Association, the guests not only enjoyed the music, but also the highly decorated artists who were on stage. Among the participants were Franz Tröster and Markus Privat on the trumpet, Thomas Gabriel on the organ and Holger Müller, who provided the rhythmic background with timpani and cajon. All musicians are internationally active luminaries whose performances have already taken place in renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Hall in New York.

What an experience, because the concert was the ensemble's third appearance in Bad Dürkheim. A thumbs up for the support association that makes such extraordinary performances possible! Concertgoers were enchanted with a fascinating mix of baroque music, pop and film music. The connection between these genres was particularly noticeable and one could only imagine the hard work that goes into such a successful event.

On Saturday, theOctober 18, 2025, the starting signal is given for the choir concert “Re: Jesu, meine Freude – In sound dialogue with Bach” in the Bad Dürkheim Castle Church. Under the direction of Elías Hostalrich, the Cantus Solis Karlsruhe will feature works by Johann Sebastian Bach and many others. For an entry price of 18 euros (reduced 12 euros, children and students have free entry), you shouldn't miss this event!
