Pride Trier 2025: A summer full of colors and diversity!

The celebrations surrounding Pride Month in Trier will also reach their climax in July 2025. Even though June has already passed, people can look forward to a variety of queer-friendly events in July. Under the motto “Our Pride Fights for Rights”, the organizers are sending a strong signal for equality, diversity and human dignity. The activities end with a big CSD event on July 19th, which delights with a colorful parade and an inspiring stage program.

A real highlight of July is the open air karaoke in the Queergarten, which will take place every Wednesday evening (July 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th) from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Only two euros participation fee is required, which will be offset against the drinks bill. DJ Carnage will support the event with his music and ensure an exuberant atmosphere, as Volksfreund reports.

Diverse supporting program

Film fans will also get their money's worth. On July 8th, the Trier Queer Cultural Center will show the film “The Birdcage – A Paradise for Shrill Birds”. Tickets can be purchased via Broadway Trier. For anyone who wants to test their knowledge about the LGBTQ+ community, the Fairweg Quiz – Pride Edition takes place in the Queergarten, and entry is free. Whoever wins can look forward to regional prizes!

Another important date is the FLINTA* party at SCHMIT-Z on July 12th from 10 p.m., to which only FLINTA* people (women, lesbians, inter*, non-binary, trans*, agender) have access. Admission is 10 euros and the celebration promises a colorful get-together. The preliminary events, such as memorial events and lectures on queer hostility and HIV prevention, also ensure that the topics are illuminated in a comprehensive manner.

Big CSD event and party atmosphere

On July 19th, the big CSD will take place in Trier, which starts at 12:30 p.m. at the Porta Nigra and ends in the Queergarten. The Pride Village will open in the palace gardens at 2 p.m. with a colorful stage program and numerous information stands. The Glow Party at Mergener Hof, which starts at 10:30 p.m., creates a party atmosphere. In order to be accessible to everyone, there are different ticket options: The special pride ticket for 20 euros, the normal ticket for 15 euros and a reduced ticket for 13 euros, each including a welcome shot.

For those who want to celebrate in a more relaxed way, there will also be an unofficial Pride party at Puzzles Pub & Night Café on the same evening from 9 p.m. Admission is free and ensures a cozy, family atmosphere. With these events, the LGBTQ+ community in Trier impressively shows what it means to celebrate together and fight against discrimination, supported by [Queernet](https://queernet-rlp.de/pride-trier- framing program-zum-pride-month/).
