The Zurlaubener Heimatfest in Trier is just around the corner and promises an unforgettable experience for all visitors! This year, the Rhineland-Palatinate North Rail Passenger Transport Association (SPNV-Nord) is bringing a special promotion: additional night trains will be offered for the upcoming festival nights. These special RB 84 connections enable a comfortable and safe journey home after the festive celebrations.
The additional trains are not only a highlight for festival visitors, but also the first opportunity to use the reopened Trier western route. The trips start and end in Weak and run in a ring in a counterclockwise direction through the city and around Trier.
Timetables and stopping points
The night trips will take place on the two nights of the festival: from Friday to Saturday, July 12th, and from Saturday to Sunday, July 13th. The departure takes place at 1:15 a.m. and 2:11 a.m. from platform 1 at the train stop Trier-Pallien, which is located on the opposite side of the Moselle from the festival grounds - about a ten-minute walk from the Zurlaubener Ufer.

Regular and replacement connections
Visitors who want to go home a little earlier can also use the regular late-night trips from Trier-Pallien. These include the RB 84 at 11:49 p.m towards Trier-Hafenstraße and the RB 84 at 00:10 to Saarburg. In addition, replacement bus trips (SEV) from Trier main station will be offered on both festival days, making arrival and departure even more flexible.
