On Monday, June 23, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred on Landstraße 465, between Zweibrücken-Mörsbach and Käshofen, at 2:05 p.m. An 18-year-old driver of a brown Toyota RAV4 lost control of his vehicle in a right-hand bend for unknown reasons and drove into the oncoming lane. As a result, there was a head-on collision with a black Hyundai i30 driven by a 60-year-old woman.
The immediate consequences were devastating: the driver of the Hyundai died from her serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
