Burglaries in Käfertal: Perpetrators broke into apartments through balcony doors!
Burglars were active in Mannheim-Käfertal last weekend. Three break-ins occurred between Friday and Sunday, in which unknown perpetrators entered the apartments through balcony doors that had been pried open. The Mannheim Police Department reports that the break-ins took place specifically on Friday between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and on Sunday between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The perpetrators systematically searched the apartments for valuables, focusing on cash, jewelry, silver coins and gold. The estimated total damage amounts to a four-digit amount. The criminal police are currently leading the investigation, but it is still unclear whether these crimes are related to further break-ins.
