On Thursday evening, a big farewell was celebrated at the Herzog-Wolfgang-Realschule plus in Zweibrücken: 95 students said goodbye to their school careers. This significant event marks a turning point in the lives of many of the young graduates as they prepare for new challenges and opportunities.
Headmaster Thomas Trier took the opportunity to report on the successes of the 9th grade. Among the graduates, ten students have already secured training positions in exciting areas such as the Bundeswehr, industry, nursing and Deutsche Bahn. An outstanding performance that shows that the young people are well positioned. In addition, 14 students were admitted to the upper secondary school level, while a total of 70 students in grade 9 completed the vocational qualification course.
Track record and exciting future
This graduation ceremony was not only an occasion for celebration, but also for reflection on the progress made by the students. 47 graduates were able to successfully achieve their professional qualifications, and several of them will soon move up to the 10th grade. Another notable success is that the situation for another student in the practical day class will be decided in the coming days. Of the 16 students in this class, seven have secured a training place, while three have made the transition to the 10th grade.
The rewards for hard work are equally visible in this celebration. The best certificates from the year groups were also recognized: In 9B, Havin Esen and Niklas Frick stood out with an excellent average of 2.0, while Jason Kalz from the practical day class showed a good performance with 2.3. Andrej Kalinic from 10S1 was particularly outstanding, not only achieving an average of 1.1 but also receiving a special prize in chemistry.
