On Saturday lunchtime, the guests of the Homburg Music Summer experienced a very special event on the historic market square. The well-known singer Eva Emingerová was in the spotlight, while the Metropolitan Jazz Band from Prague set off musical fireworks and took visitors on an unforgettable journey through time. Their performance of “What a Wonderful World” was reminiscent of the iconic sounds of Louis Armstrong and gave you goosebumps. The Homburg Music Summer extends over several weeks and includes a total of 32 concerts until mid-September. On the first two days of July, July 11th and 12th, various performances took place on the historic market square. On Friday evening, the band BabaShango opened the series of concerts with a mix of Afrofunk, disco and soul in German. Their frontman, OQ, leads the audience through the evening with ease as a storyteller, healer and entertainer.
