How ARD reports that there is great interest in her recipe, but Rosa has a clear head and rejects the offers.
There is an interesting story behind this sweet success. Rosa, who leads a withdrawn life on her mountain pasture and often thinks about her deceased fiancé, is persuaded to win the prize by her village priest, who secretly enters her chocolates into a competition. The uproar surrounding her victory ultimately forces her to leave her peaceful pasture behind and travel to Hamburg, which means a big change for her. Her journey also leads her to Hannes Seeger, a charming fishmonger who mistakenly believes that Rosa comes from a wealthy chocolate dynasty and could be a possible investor. Hannes' company is on the verge of ruin, which makes the situation even more exciting
Heart and business
Rosa quickly shows interest in Hannes, but things get complicated. While chocolate magnates like Ignatz Mayrhofer try to get their secret recipe, Hannes increasingly realizes that Rosa's heart is worth more to him than her money. In a race for Rosa's favor, both Hannes and the committed gigolo Matteo di Monte Caprese try to clarify their intentions. Meanwhile, Rosa realizes that Hannes was initially only interested in a financial solution, which breaks her heart. Back on her mountain pasture, she has to think about what really matters.
The story is part of the romantic comedy “Alpenglow” by TVseries.de was staged. Director Hajo Gies brought the magical world of chocolates and hearts to life with talented actors such as Christiane Hörbiger and Götz George.
Sweet competition and recognition
It remains to be seen whether Rosa can ultimately win Hannes' favor or whether the sweet temptation of the chocolate world will lead her back to her alpine pasture.
