Moosbrunner Multiplast: Europe's No. 1 for innovative fire extinguishing guns!

In an exciting mission, Mathias Past, the branch chairman, and Mario Freiberger, the branch manager, visited the Moosbrunner company Multiplast over. The company is known not only in Austria but throughout Europe for its innovative and patented rotating fire extinguishing guns. Over an impressive 90% of sales here come from exports, which shows that the products are really shaking up the international market.

The universally applicable fire extinguisher gun from Multiplast is suitable for portable and mobile fire extinguishers, meets all important EU standards and offers the highest level of safety and quality thanks to its parts made of corrosion-free plastic. From water to foam to powder extinguishers - the versatility of the gun is a real plus, not least due to its patented 360° rotation, which can offer decisive advantages in the event of a fire.

Brewing love in Schwechat

Another stop for the two business cameramen took them to the brewing town of Schwechat, which is known for its traditional art of brewing. Here they met brewmaster Andreas Urban and Georg Gartner, who introduced the guests to the secrets of the brewing art. Anton Dreher, a pioneer in the art of brewing, set standards with his commitment in the 19th century that still have an impact today. The city has thus established itself as one of the most important brewery locations in Europe.

It was also exciting to visit Harald Kratky, who founded a sole proprietorship in Vienna's 19th district in 1995 and can now look back on a flourishing company history in refrigeration and air conditioning technology. The company has also been represented in Schwechat – Rannersdorf since 2017. Mathias Past and Mario Freiberger take the opportunity to congratulate Kratky on this impressive success.

Gastronomy and handmade specialties

At the same time, her path led her to Lukas Horak, who has been running the “No. 11” restaurant concept in Gramatneusiedl since 2021. With handmade ice cream, delicious patisserie, sourdough bread and fresh bowls, Horak has created a little paradise for gourmets. The two business bureaucrats were amazed by the passion with which Horak creates his products.

The fire protection trend is currently subject to rapidly growing markets, particularly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland, where demand is constantly increasing due to stricter regulations. This is what a study by Interconnection Consulting that there was an average growth of 5.4% between 2020 and 2021. The new regulations, including those following the devastating Grenfell Tower fire, have raised safety standards worldwide and set the industry in motion.

These visits and the discussions that have their finger on the pulse of the times make it clear that the future lies in the hands of innovative companies like Multiplast and passionate companies like “No. 11”. A good knack for operational development is also evident in Schwechat and with Harald Kratky, whose success story does not go unnoticed. So a lot is happening in and around our old town, and in a way that can only be described as promising.
