Living in Röchlingpark: A dream for Saarbrücken’s families!

In Saarbrücken, more precisely in the newly designed residential park at Triller, modern living is at its best. The large-scale residential building project, which was built on a 19,000 square meter site, is being realized by LBS Immobilien GmbH and Triller Wohnpark GmbH. After intense protests from residents and various city council resolutions, the residential park is now largely completed. The development includes twelve buildings, predominantly multi-family homes, and offers a total of 39 condominium units ranging from over 100 to more than 200 square meters. This makes the project an interesting option for a wide range of residents.

The highlights of the residential park are impressive. Among other things, there are seven penthouses and four villas, which are located in a spacious 7,000 square meter park area. Here residents can enjoy nature and live in a harmonious environment. The investment in the project amounts to at least 40 million euros and only three apartments are available. Interestingly, the purchase prices are between around 700,000 euros and 1.129 million euros, which makes the offer in the region attractive to wealthy buyers. Despite the sometimes high prices, an impressive 95% of current residents are satisfied, at least that's what the project's developers estimate.

Luxurious living with lots of space

The individual residential units include a stylishly designed apartment with approximately 134.19 square meters of living space. This offers a well thought-out floor plan and a luxurious living experience. The apartment has a spacious entrance area and a living/dining area of over 63 m², which flows seamlessly into a high-quality fitted kitchen. Lovers of good food and conviviality will get their money's worth here. The large window fronts and the loggia are perfect places to enjoy the view of the greenery.

Particularly noteworthy is the master bathroom, which has a floor-level tiled shower and a free-standing bathtub. Ideal for relaxing hours after a long day! With an additional room that can be used as an office, children's room or guest room, the living needs of many families are well met. The apartment will be completed in 2023 and is offered in a quiet location on a residential street. Underground parking spaces are also available for car lovers, which can be purchased separately for 40,000 euros.

Criticism and development

But not everything is all sunshine and roses. The Triller interest group expressed criticism of the massive development, which they describe as a “foreign body”. Some residents are concerned about the impact on quality of living, but the high level of satisfaction among new residents shows that for many it means functional living in a great location.

The historical background of the site provides another interesting aspect: it once belonged to Carl Röchling, whose villa was destroyed in the Second World War. The history of this place will shine in a new light as it develops into a modern residential area for entrepreneurs, retirees and young families!
