Klangreserve 2025: Music festival delights Saarlouis from August 15th to 17th!

A highlight for music lovers is just around the corner: the “Klangreserve 2025” event will take place in Saarlouis from August 15th to 17th. The Association of Reservists of the German Bundeswehr invites you to a three-day music festival that will delight both young and old. The anticipation is already palpable, because the last rehearsals of the Saarland Reservist Music Platoon at the Siersburg elementary school have shown that the musicians have a good knack for a successful performance.

The opening of the festival will be celebrated on August 15th at 7 p.m. in the Theater am Ring. Captain Holger Kolodziej from the Koblenz Army Music Corps and pilot Claudia Wälder-Jene from the Saarland Reservist Music Platoon take over the musical direction. The program planned afterwards has a lot to offer and will certainly provide unforgettable moments. Admission to the opening concert is free, but registration is required - so it's best to call 0 68 81 5 23 78 or register online!

Versatile performances in Saarlouis

Things will get going on August 16th: various performances by the reservist music trains will take place in Saarlouis city center. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., concerts take place at several locations, including the pavilion on Franzen Straße and the Pieper department store on the Großer Markt. The Big Band Baden-Württemberg will create a great atmosphere on the stage at the Kleiner Markt before all participants come together for the finale at 4:15 p.m.

On the following Sunday, August 17th, the musical service will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the parish church of St. Ludwig. These events illustrate the aim of the festival: to create a connection between music and society and to present the reserve as a citizen-oriented and committed institution. Mayor Marc Speicher took over the patronage.

The sound reserve as part of a larger tradition

Klangreserve 2025 is not just a one-off event, but also the third hiking event organized by the reservist association. After successful launch events in Koblenz and Hildesheim, it is now coming to Saarlouis to keep the tradition alive. This year we are particularly proud to be able to offer exciting musical contributions from various reservist music bands. In addition to the Saarland reservist music band, the music bands from Trier and Ulm are also represented, which, together with the Koblenz Army Music Corps and the Baden-Württemberg Big Band, guarantee a varied and entertaining program.

At the same time, you can look forward to the 6th Bundeswehr Music Festival, which is taking place on September 21st at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf. It promises to be a true celebration of music, with over 800 music professionals from different nations performing. Whether it's the Bundeswehr's staff music corps or international guests such as the Swiss Army's recruit orchestra, the signs point to a great musical experience.

Overall, the Klangreserve 2025 promises to be a festival for the entire region that not only promotes musical culture, but also strengthens the sense of community. Visit this wonderful event and let yourself be carried away by the music!
