The city of Schwarzenbek is always there for its citizens, regardless of whether they have personal concerns or health questions. In this context, a citizens' consultation with the mayor will take place on Tuesday, September 9th. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., anyone interested has the opportunity to come to room 109 of the town hall, Ritter-Wulf-Platz 1 - without making an appointment in advance. Support for people suffering from cancer is particularly important. The DRK center at Bismarckstrasse 9b offers regular consultation appointments, the next one will take place on Monday, September 8th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Here, those affected and their relatives can exchange ideas and collect information. Advice offers in Schwarzenbek
Another highlight of the city is the dementia consultation, which is offered every second Thursday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Schwarzenbek-Land office, Gülzower Straße 1. This initiative is particularly aimed at relatives and people with memory problems and offers helpful information about the disease and support. It is recommended to register in advance, while the consultation is independent and free. Free care advice
The importance of nursing advice cannot be overemphasized. According to the DRK e.V., people who need support due to age, illness or after an accident receive free help. The nursing advisors not only help with applying for nursing degrees, but also with organizing household help. The individual situation is taken into account and support can be provided both by telephone and in person - even home visits are possible. This advice is particularly valuable support for relatives, as there is often little information available on care issues.
A need for care often brings with it uncertainty and many people are not prepared to take on care. It is therefore crucial to clarify in good time whether care in your own home is possible and what support is needed. The legislature ensures that those in need of care and their relatives have a legal right to free care advice, as set out in Section 7b SGB XI. This support can provide great relief not only for those affected, but also for family members, who often bear the brunt of care.
