The summer holidays are just around the corner and an exciting adventure is beginning for many children in Geesthacht. The Alter Bahnhof youth center has put together a varied program that ensures there is no chance of boredom. From creative craft activities to exciting excursions – there is something for every child. Duchy Direct reports that the program will start on July 28, 2025 and registrations will be possible from July 14.

Creative minds have the opportunity to make beaded jewelry on the first day, while older children can decorate their lanterns. Both are just some of the highlights in the program, which includes numerous events over two weeks. Other activities include outdoor games, tie-dyeing T-shirts, and an exciting trip to the Nindorf Wildlife Park, which only costs 5 euros, and participants have to take care of their own food.

A look at the schedule shows that the second week of the holiday is packed with exciting activities. On August 4th, for example, there will be a trip to the barefoot path in Egestorf, followed by creative workshops such as decorating lamps and dyeing silk scarves.
