Diversity of music colleges

The music universities in Germany play an important role in the training of artistic talents. With over 650 university locations and more than 20,000 course offerings, they offer a wide range of opportunities for aspiring musicians. In addition to artistic courses, educational and scientific orientations are also part of the offering. The German Music Information Center states that the 24 training centers in the Rectors' Conference of German Music Universities include 28 locations, including the specialized schools for church music in Mainz and Münster. A variety of new courses and seminars are offered here, which constantly enrich the training.

The students are challenged to give their best, and the exams assess not only their mastery of classical pieces, but also their ability to interpret modern musical styles - as the program of the concert evening impressively demonstrates. It is this mixture that keeps the Lübeck University of Music so popular.
