VfB Lübeck starts the new regional league season with high excitement!
The North German Football Association (NFV) has published the schedule for the Regionalliga Nord for the 2025/26 season, and the first six match days have already been determined. Like VfB Lübeck on its website reported, the team starts with a home game against Bremer SV on July 26, 2025 at 4 p.m. The anticipation for the new season could hardly be greater, after all, for many fans and players, the leisure kick means the desire for exciting duels.
But in the first games it's not just the home performances that you can admire. VfB Lübeck will also have to play some away games. On August 1st, 2025 we go to Meppen and on August 8th in Oldenburg. An exciting DFB Cup game against Darmstadt 98 is scheduled for August 16, 2025 at 6 p.m. and promises a real highlight. Here the team has the chance to prove itself against higher-class opponents.
Home games and ticket sales
Lübeck football fans can also look forward to further home games. In August there are matches against SSV Jeddeloh II on August 27th, 2025 at 7 p.m. and against Hannover 96 II and Altona 93, both on August 31st and September 6th, 2025 at 2 p.m. The exchange of home rights for the game against Hannover 96 II is noticeable, as the Eilenriedestadion is already occupied on the weekend in question. These organizational tasks are particularly important to the club in order to offer the fans an optimal experience.
Ticket sales for the first two home games against Bremer SV and SSV Jeddeloh have already begun. Anyone who wants to treat themselves to a good piece of football action should act quickly. Information about further ticket sales will follow shortly on the VfB Lübeck website Kicker represents a proper contact point for all fans.
Games and players in focus
Aside from the game plan, there are also impressive performances from individual players to report. Omar Sillah recently scored a remarkable goal that went over the inside post and into the net. But young Dane Kummerfeld also showed that he has the necessary instinct by pushing the ball flat under the wall instead of choosing the harder method as a striker. Besfort Kolgeci shone with an old striker technique by sensitively receiving the ball and putting it past the opponent and into the goal. The question remains when Lorenzo Paldino and Kolgeci will be on the pitch together as a strike duo in order to combine their goal threat.
For football fans in Hamburg and the surrounding area, the coming season will be an exciting period with plenty of scope for great moments. As always, the VfB Lübeck team always provides information about current developments, and fans can find out more about topics like these on the website North German Football Association read up.
