Another highlight of the market was the awarding of the “most beautiful rose” and the “best scented rose” at 3 p.m. by the museum gardener Matthias Schuh. The Kiekberg rose election, organized by volunteers from the Kiekeberg support association, offered visitors the opportunity to choose their favorite from ten roses from five breeders. This initiative contributes to the popularity of the event and the older, tried and tested rose varieties continue to enjoy great popularity.
