On July 6, 2025, the 5th qualification for the Ü 50 Cup took place in Biberach, with outstanding performances and exciting results.

On July 6, 2025, the 5th qualification for the Over 50 Cup took place in Upper Swabia, directly on the Swabian Baroque Road. The venue was the impressive monastery church of St. Verena, which provided an atmospheric setting for the 17 riders taking part. Designed by course manager Karlheinz Wiedemann, the course offered exciting challenges for all participants.
In optimal conditions, the riders presented themselves in top form, which was reflected in the high number of clear rounds. Nine of the 17 participants managed to get through the course without making any mistakes. Silke Madlener, who competed with two horses, was able to open the jump-off - with great success. She not only took first place, but also second place.

The standings in the overall standings
After five outstanding qualifications, exciting considerations in the overall standings have emerged. In total, participants must complete four qualifications in order to be counted. Here is the current interim status:

- 2. Simone Waizenegger/RFV Hauerz – 81 Punkte
- 3. Ulrich Paulus/RFV Rot an der Rot – 80 Punkte
- 4. Erwin Schmeier/RFV Bad Schussenried – 77 Punkte
- 5. Jürgen Waizenegger/RFV Hauerz – 75 Punkte
- 6. Maria Hepp/RFV Bad Waldsee – 73 Punkte
- 7. Claudia Paulus/RFV Rot an der Rot – 71 Punkte
The next qualification takes place in Leutkirch-Haid at the beginning of August, followed by the last one in Hauerz in September. The highlight of the cup will be the final on September 20th and 21st, 2025 in Krumbach/Tettnang. So the question remains: who will rock the next competitions?
A look at the performance classes shows that the riders are divided into different categories depending on their successes and qualifications. A rider's performance class determines which tests he is allowed to take part in. Anyone who wants to assert themselves in tournament sports knows the details of the performance classes such as LK 0 to LK 6, which range from trial licenses to the highest requirements. Here you can learn the basics of the competition, which are published by the FN and are decisive for the division of the starting fields.
This means the riders always have the chance to develop further and start in the higher classes with a good hand. We can only hope that the participants can demonstrate their talent in the coming qualifications.
