The anticipation in Ihringen is increasing because the 47th Ihringen Wine Days will take place from June 20th to 23rd, 2025. This offers festival visitors an exciting program of wine enjoyment, culinary delicacies and musical entertainment. » Baden newspaper reports that the opening will take place on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Stockbrunnen. In addition to numerous guests from politics and business, representatives of the Ihringen Music Association and the traditional costume group will also be present. Mayor Benedikt Eckerle and the Kaiserstuhl/Tuniberg wine princess, Pia Probst, officially open the festival at the town hall.
Various bands provide musical entertainment, including the well-known groups 1000 Volt and Wombats as well as the Burkheim town band and music clubs from Gündlingen and Achkarren. On Saturday the traditional Bavarian morning pint starts at 10 a.m. in the DRK-Hof. Here, visitors can hope for a good atmosphere with barrel tapping, white sausage and pretzels, while the winemaking Olympics will take place on the festival street at 2:30 p.m. - a fun competition that promises small and large prizes.
A celebration for the whole family
Sunday starts at 9:45 a.m. with a celebratory service in the Heger-Hof, followed by an open wine cellar from 10 a.m. A free playmobile is available for the little ones from 1 p.m. and the fairground has numerous attractions. On all days of the festival, visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of the wine festival - the community of Ihringen promises convivial hours with exquisite Ihringen wines and a variety of culinary delicacies. Ihringen.de emphasizes that the appropriate transport connections through the S-Bahn and special buses ensure a safe journey home.
On Monday the festival opens at 11:30 a.m. with a delicious lunch in the wine village, followed by a seniors' afternoon with the traditional costume group and the fire department. The wine days come to an end at 6 p.m. with music from the Lilientaler Alphornbläser and “The Singing Winemakers”. Another highlight are the non-stop celebrations until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and until 1 a.m. on Sunday and Monday. Entry to the Ihringer Wine Days is free. If you want to buy the celebration glasses, you can find DOC stemware for three euros and large stemware for five euros.
